Last updated: January 26, 2026

Fair Usage

Simple and transparent terms for using our conversion tools.

License

You get a personal license to use the extension on your devices.

Limitations

We provide the tool 'as is' for your convenience.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing the HEIC Killer Chrome Extension, accessing our website, or purchasing a license, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. License Grant

We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the Extension strictly in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

Personal License: For use on your own personal devices. • Commercial Use: You may use the Pro version for commercial work (e.g., converting client photos), provided you do not resell the software itself.

3. Intellectual Property

The software, including its code, interface, and branding, is owned by HEIC Killer. However, you retain full ownership of any files you convert. We claim no rights over your images.

4. Usage Restrictions

You agree not to: • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension. • Use the Extension for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. • Bypass or exploit the Pro license system. • Share your license key publicly or with large groups.

5. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access/license immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms, specifically for license abuse (e.g., a single key used on hundreds of devices).

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided 'AS IS' without warranty of any kind. While we strive for perfection, we do not guarantee that the extension will be error-free or that it will process every corrupt or non-standard HEIC file perfectly.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall HEIC Killer or its developers be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Service. Use the software at your own risk.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the company is established, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
