Getting Started with HEIC Killer

Learn how to install and use the HEIC Killer extension for the first time.

Welcome to HEIC Killer

HEIC Killer is a powerful browser extension that allows you to convert HEIC/HEIF images to JPG or PNG directly in your browser, without uploading your private photos to any server.

Installation

  1. Visit the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Click Add to Chrome.
  3. Confirm the installation by clicking Add extension in the popup.

How to Convert Your First Image

  1. Click the HEIC Killer icon in your browser toolbar to open the popup.
  2. Or simply click the icon to open the Studio page (Full Screen).
  3. Drag and drop your .heic files into the drop zone.
  4. The conversion will start automatically.
  5. Once finished, you can downlod individual files or click "Download All" to get a ZIP file.

Pro Features

For power users, HEIC Killer Pro offers:

  • Unlimited batch conversions (Free version limited to 3 per day).
  • EXIF Metadata preservation.
  • Prioritized multi-core processing (4x faster).

Upgrade anytime via the Settings menu in the extension.
